I love this chick’s tattoo. Talk about going the distance! This tattoo shapes and elongates her body, and wow! There are only so many people that should display a tattoo design that wraps the side of their body, but if you can pull it off, I say go for it!

The history of corseting was to mold and shape a woman’s body. It symbolized conformity. The term “straight laced” is a good example of this attitude, and the corset has been viewed as a restraining force, standing for social order and accepted morality.
The irony of modern day corseting, via the way of piercing, is that its message is actually the opposite. This uniquely beautiful new trend shouts from the roof tops, I am my own person! I am fully aware of my body, my beauty, my individuality, my sexuality and I make my own choices.
Like other piercings, this one is available as a temporary addition. There are faux rings that clip the skin and allow for the ribbon to be threaded through. This is an awesome alternative for a special evening out, or to test the waters before you take the plunge.
