About Us

At last you have found the perfect store to shop for your fine piercing jewelry from the comfort of your own home. At FreshTrends we design and create custom body jewelry from solid 14k gold and platinum. We are a small business located in Palm Beach, Florida dedicated to making high quality gold body jewelry that you will never want to take off.

With Halloween right around the corner, we all officially have excuses to wear our wildest accessories and boldest outfits – I know I’m excited. Whether you have rainbow colored hair, tattoos, or body piercings, it’s always fun to incorporate a little bit of who you are underneath into the costume you put together.

With that in mind, I’ve compiled some of my favorite body mod inspired costume ideas, right here in one place. Halloween jewelry doesn’t have to be Halloween jewelry – check out these fresh, sexy ways you can show off your piercings this year.

Blood sucking temptress

Who doesn’t love a vampire? The makeup alone is reason enough for me to start whiting out my complexion and reaching for a set of fangs, but piercings make it so much edgier. Bring imagination and originality to a vampire getup with bloody body piercing accents, instead of the usual face paint.

These killer items set the tone perfectly:

Blood drop labret
Vampire Blood Droplet Surgical Steel Labret / Cartilage Earring
Gothic chandlier belly ring

Gothic CZ Chandelier Reverse Dangle Belly Button Ring

Blood plugs

Harley Quinn – Psychotic Bombshell

Ugh, can I just say how much I am in LOVE with Harley Quinn? This beautiful maniac is sweeping the nation with her candy colored locks and wild makeup, but what I really dig is the chaos in her sense of style.

Forget the costumes in store – her edgy thrown-together look is easy enough to assemble out of some choice accessories and thrift store finds.

Make your Harley Quinn costume authentic and sexy as hell with her “PUDDIN” collar, and load up your ears with piles of safety pin earrings and metallic cuffs. Add a dash of Kool Aid to the tips of your hair, and paint up an old thrift store baseball bat to seal the deal, and officially become the baddest chick in town.

Nika from Hitman

Okay, maybe you know who this grumpy little firecracker is, and maybe you don’t, but all I know is, ever since I watched Hitman, I’ve wanted to be this chick for a day. Her tiny red dress and giant fur coat, couples with blazing smokey eyes and a pouty labret stud are positively badass, and it’s such an easy look to achieve.

Use a bit of liquid eyeliner to paint the little dragon on your face, then check out these pieces of body jewelry to complete the look. Hint: don’t forget your smirk and angry glare.

Witchy Woman

Oh hi, I get to dress up as a sultry sorceress for the night? Don’t mind if I do. The witch thing is way overdone I know, but it’s a classic that can take so many turns, and I just can’t get enough of it. Pretty dresses meets black, meets corsets, meets goth-goes-rustic details for a look that you can build out of pretty much anything.

Go classic Elvira with spider web details and heavy crosses, or take it to a witch doctor feel with exotic accents like brass snakes and ruby red studs.

Amphitrite – Goddess Queen of the Sea

I was eyeballing some carved starfish plugs the other day, and it occurred to me that they would look amazing as part of a sea goddess get-up. This Greek deity was wife to Poseidon in mythology, and any time I picture her, I think of this raging beauty, rising out of the sea with a crown of shells, and wild dread-locked hair.

Please, someone dress up like this, and send me the pictures, so that I might muster the motivation to do it myself one year, because it sounds positively epic. A smattering of antiqued gold and turquoise makeup across the brow bones, an aqua colored dress, torn to tatters, and all of the adornments of lost pirate ships and ocean treasures – think mermaid meets sea queen.

Ugh, on second thought, can I just dress like a Greek sea queen goddess every day? Once a year does not seem like enough.

I mean good lord, I could go on forever with costume ideas, I definitely tend to go overboard. But it is definitely all in the details, and if you have some gorgeous body piercings, don’t be shy, now’s the time to go bold and show ‘em off!

Truth time – one year I was Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice. And yes, it takes hours to put on that much teal body paint.

Happy Halloween!
