| Listerine and tongue rings I got a tongue piercing done with one of those tongue barbell things and when I got it done the guy told me to rinse with Listerine alot to keep it from getting infected. I guess I there’s such thing as too much because I really did it alot and my tongue got dyed green and then it swelled up. You almost couldn’t see my tongue ring anymore because it was so swollen, so I went back to the place and the guy took it out and told me to stop using so much Listerine. He said I had to wait till the swelling was down and it was all healed up before I could get another tongue piercing, but he was really great and said if I came back he’d pierce my tongue again for half the price, and give me a deal on some cool tongue piercing jewelry. So far all my tongue rings are all barbells, I even have a gold tongue ring; but I want to start getting some really cool different ones like rings and that. I didn’t use the Listerine so much after my second piercing, only about three times a day, and it was alot better that time. Now I love it and so does my girlfriend! I’m not telling you that story though, I don’t think they’d post it if I did! Mike |
Tongue... It was about one month ago when I got my tongue pierced, it didn't hurt like alot of people said it would. I had it done around eleven o'clock , so that way I would be able to sleep off most of the pain, well, I awoke the next morning to go to school, and it was really swollen, but i kissed my boyfriend any way when we got there , which was a stupid thing to do , but nothing happend.so I am very happy with my tongue piercing. I had to rince with alchohol-free mouthwash and ( of course I did this any way ) but I had to brush my teeth twice a day and gently brush around the barbell. Now its a month later and I and my tongue are doing very well. :) ELECIA POGO |
