Comfy but stains

Bioflex is uber cool: very comfortable to wear and easy to conceal if necessary (i.e. for work or grandma). But this particular nose ring somehow gets a greenish film inside the space that holds the stone. It ends up looking gross. I wear my nose ring 24/7 (save for grandma visits, of course), in the shower and when swimming, so that may have something to do with the discoloration. Also someone suggested that I put a layer of clear nail-polish over the stone before wearing it to prevent the discoloration. Easy enough to do, but I'll have to get another nose ring to test that theory.
