2 out of 5 stars can't get the bead to lock in

Reviewed by A viewer from 2

This would be a great product, but I can't get the bead to lock into place. I ordered a replacement set as I was convinced the first set was defective. When the second set had the same problem, I concluded that the problem was with the spring mechanism on the bead. I think it is too slow to respond when it lines up with the holes in the hoop. I've got four of these hoops now and I can't even get them to lock in when holding them in my hand, let alone in my ear. I've interchanged the beads to no avail. Maybe I've just had bad luck.
