SIZING PIERCING JEWELRY

When shopping for the perfect piece of body piercing jewelry you'll need to know what size you need. Here's some info to help you discover your perfect fit.

What is "Gauge"?
The "gauge" of your piercing is the thickness of the bar that goes through your piercing. In other words, it's the barbell's thickness. *Note that the thicker the barbell, the lower the gauge size. So a 12 gauge (or 12G) barbell is much thicker than a 20 gauge (20G) barbell.

Piercing Jewelry "Length":

The 'length' of your piercing jewelry refers to the "wearable" span of the barbell that goes through your piercing. It is measured from the top to the bottom of the straight or curved barbell and excludes the balls or charms.

Piercing Jewelry "Diameter":

The 'Diameter' is used to measure the size of round barbells such as hoops, captives, clickers, seam rings, and circulars. It is measured from the innermost and widest point of the circle, inside the hoop.

Perfect little septum ring

I bought this ring in 16g and 5/16 diameter for my septum piercing. It fits beautifully, snug against the bottom of my nose, but thick enough to be seen and catch the light. It is challenging to close, it took my about 20 minutes with gloves and pliers...but we got there and I am not planning on taking it out anytime soon.

I purchased a couple of these several years ago before the website got upgraded. I still wear them in my ears. For a long time I had two of these for my nipple piercings. They are great quality and despite daily wear the quality never decreased. The only reason I changed out my nipple rings were to get more exciting ones from freshtrends. Because the rings were just as good as when I got them I relocated the ones I had has nipple rings to my ears. If you want a pair of sturdy, solid hoops for any kind of piercing these are a great choice. If i get more piercings in the future these will be my first purchase. If you don't have the right tools then they are difficult to open and close. I have jewelry pliers and that makes it easy peasy.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!

I love love my septum ring! It's so dainty and I'm getting the "Where did you get your cute ring from?" I got the size 16G 3/8" 10mm. Which was the perfect snug fit but not too snug, gives me a little wiggle room. Their sizes run on the smaller side. I ordered a different one on the next size down 8mm and it was too small, but they were excellent on working something out with me and I couldn't be more happier! I would give more stars if i could. Thank you Fresh Trends!!! You got a Costumer for life! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Beautiful but super hard to close

I received this ring as a gift. I loved it the only downfall is it’s super super hard to close . It took me more than two hours to clip it on just by itself without putting it on the piercing. I watched videos, I read instructions but it was very difficult.

Okay so first I gotta say service is excellent. The piece was beautiful but the fit was too small. My bad. I also could not get the darn thing to close despite watching YouTube multiple times. I decided to get a larger size so I can use it as planned and switch to a continuous ring instead. That I should be able to handle. I am still waiting to have my return processed so I can order it. Nonetheless the service has been great. Delay’s are to to the world issues at present. Hopefully I can order soon. 🤙

Love the Ring! No Ball to Lose!

This is such a great ring for the labret. I purchased one and am so happy not to have to try to get a ball in the ring. It fits nice and looks great!!!!
